Meridian to Launch Proliance at Annual User Conference

First Business Process Management Solution for Real Estate and Construction unveiled October 1 in Las Vegas

FOLSOM, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2003) – Meridian Project Systems® (Meridian), leading software and application service provider of project management solutions, officially launches Proliance® Oct. 1st, at its 7th annual user conference at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Proliance is the first enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) solution for large global enterprises who design, procure, construct, and maintain large real estate and capital construction programs.

Proliance will be unveiled during the user conference general session (titled "Introducing Business Process Management for Streamlining Enterprise Project Controls") in the Roman Ballroom of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino, beginning at 1:00PM on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003.

John Bodrozic, Meridian president and co-founder, will conduct Proliance’s first public demonstration. The launch event also features a solution overview and roadmap review. Leading edge construction and real estate companies, specifically Skanska USA Building Inc., Jones Lang LaSalle and Trammell Crow Company have announced their adoption of Proliance for project management controls.

"Meridian is excited to launch its most innovative technology solution in its history, providing a new technology paradigm for managing projects, programs and processes for top ranked ENR firms and Fortune 1000 companies. It’s particularly rewarding that the launch occurs on this milestone occasion," said Bodrozic.

The seventh annual conference, themed A Decade of Innovation, commemorates Meridian’s 10th year anniversary. Since 1993, Meridian has developed project management solutions for Fortune 500 corporations, government agencies, manufacturers, real estate developers, technology companies and AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) firms. Today, more than 85,000 users collaborate, purchase, schedule, budget and control documentation on corporate real estate projects using Meridian' extensive technical capabilities.

Proliance, Meridian’s third-generation Internet technology platform, enables large organizations with employees around the globe to plan, budget, and track all work and finance details on every project and program. Proliance utilizes a platform built on Web Services using the Microsoft .NET application framework, a powerful foundation that includes workflow automation, security, file management, reporting and communication tools.

Detailed Proliance information and a free white paper, "Proliance: The New Paradigm," are available at http://www.MeridianSystems.com/products/proliance/index.asp.
