Meridian Project Systems To Showcase Project Management Solutions at CFMA 2003 Conference and Exhibition
Meridian Solution Demonstrations Available May 5-6, 2003 in Booth #106
FOLSOM, Calif. (April 28, 2003) -- Meridian Project Systems® (Meridian),
a leading software and application service provider (ASP) of project
management solutions, will showcase its award-winning Prolog® Application
Suite at the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA)
2003 Annual Conference and Exhibition (Booth #106). The event will be
at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina in San Diego, Calif., May 3-7, 2003.
Meridian will demonstrate Prolog Application Suite, traditional (self-hosted)
software; and the ProjectTalk ASP. Both solutions have become industry
standards for project management and cost control.
Meridian’ Prolog Application Suite has been the driving force behind Perini Building Company’s cost control procedures. “I have not seen user-friendly software able to track cost so precisely,” said Aravind Thayaparan, Perini engineering manager of field operations. “There are lots of software applications out-there: Expedition, Buzzsaw, Constructware. I looked for project management software simple enough for the project team to use out-here on the job, but that is reasonably priced, able to create custom reports, and gives a complete picture of costs.”
“Our construction strategy requires a solution with entry fields easily adjustable to different clients’ cost tracking needs, no off-line document preparation, and adaptability to the construction methods of our project managers, engineers, project superintendents and accountants. Meridian solutions offered these, with a company history of cost tracking and excellent customer support,” added Thayaparan.
Prolog and ProjectTalk provide complete project management and cost control. Manage budgets, commitments, costs, and savings-overruns; update project budgets instantly recording executed changes in Prolog; or produce programs that directly connect accounting systems to project management solutions. A range of support services including training, consulting and technical support backs all Meridian products.
