Meridian Project Systems Opens 2004 User Conference Registration
8th annual event to be chaired by McGraw-Hill Construction/ENR consulting editor Scott Shuster
FOLSOM, Calif. (March 12, 2004) — Meridian Project Systems® (Meridian), provider of leading-edge enterprise software solutions for the real estate, construction and facility lifecycle, announces registration for its 2004 International User Conference. Themed Accelerating Business Performance, the 8th annual conference is expected to draw more than 400 Meridian customers from around the world to Orlando, Fla., Sept. 14 – Sept. 16, 2004.
"This year, we will be bringing customers together in forums where they can really share their wealth of knowledge,” said Sue Watkins, Meridian director of marketing and this year’s event producer. “Our job is to make it possible for attendees to exchange proven strategies for facility and business development, and to show each other how they are successfully reducing costs and increasing profits.
"We are grateful for all the positive feedback from our year-to-year attendees, but we are not resting on our laurels – this year’s event will be even better," added Watkins.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- Current and potential users of Prolog Application Suite, ProjectTalk and Proliance
- Owners of facilities, government agencies, and construction and engineering firms involved in facility development
- Industries: Transportation, Retail, Real Estate, Construction, Architecture, Manufacturing, Health Services, Government, Engineering, Energy and Education
WHAT WILL THE CONFERENCE PROVIDE: Users of Meridian project and process management solutions will learn new features, new methods of client implementation, and new software use strategies – all while networking with other solution users and interacting with Meridian technical and development staff. IUC 2004 is a great place to meet people with similar interests who are dealing with issues in different ways.
With a new agenda format, IUC 2004 will feature four general session panel discussions. This dynamic new format will de-emphasize speeches and slides. Instead, users and executives onstage will engage in an open discussion chaired by McGraw-Hill Construction/ENR consulting editor Scott Shuster. Shuster is a longtime correspondent of ABC News and a former producer of NPR's All Things Considered. Leader of dozens of "CIO-only" and IT industry events for BusinessWeek, Hewlett-Packard, COMDEX, Microsoft, IBM and many other organizations, Scott Shuster will bring dynamic and interesting discussions to all four of the conference general panel discussions.
WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 14 – Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004
WHERE: Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, Orlando, Fla.
In close proximity to Disney’s five amusement and three water parks, this year's conference location, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, offers five themed restaurants, two specialty lounges, a white sand beach, health club, two heated swimming pools, marina with watercraft fleet, volleyball and croquet courts and five golf courses.
