Meridian Project Systems Hires Marketing Director
FOLSOM,
Calif. (March 8, 2002) - Meridian Project Systems (Meridian) announced today
that Susan K. Watkins has joined the company as director of marketing
communications. Meridian is a leading software and application service provider
of project management solutions, and was twice ranked as one of Inc
magazine's fastest growing companies and recently named Alumni of the
Year by Golden State Capital Network.
Watkins is a technology marketing professional with 17 years of business experience in both consumer and business-to-business marketing. Having served tenures within both Fortune 500 and startup company environments, Watkins has expertise in developing marketing strategies, building marketing organizations, and building momentum for companies and products. Watkins will oversee Meridian' marketing activities, which include strategic direction for the company's websites, product marketing, public relations and events. She will work out of the company's Folsom headquarters.

Before joining Realty Plus, Watkins led the marketing efforts at another high-profile Sacramento startup, ShareWave, Inc., a wireless home networking company. Watkins also worked for several Silicon Valley companies including Symantec Corporation, Apple Computer, and Banner Blue Software in various product marketing and marketing communication roles. Watkins earned an MBA from Santa Clara University, and her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Marketing from San Jose State University.
