Meridian and RealFoundations Partner to Service Real Estate and Construction Industries
Alliance expands consulting and integration services for Proliance®
FOLSOM, Calif. (February 17, 2004) — Meridian Project Systems® (Meridian), provider of leading-edge enterprise software solutions for the real estate, construction and facility lifecycle, announces a strategic alliance with RealFoundations, a management and technology-consulting firm focused on the real estate, homebuilding and construction industries.
The two firms will combine efforts to service corporate accounts adopting Proliance, the first business process management (BPM) solution for large enterprises who need to design, procure, construct and maintain large capital and real estate construction programs.
"We are excited to join forces with the technology leader in project and program management software," said Dean Hook, managing director, RealFoundations. "RealFoundations' goal is to provide value to our customers through service experience and leading-edge solutions, and adding Proliance to our offerings allows us to do that," finished Hook.
Designed for Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, and engineering
and construction firms, Proliance is the first project controls solution
built on Web Services and XML technology. Proliance uniquely allows
global companies to manage projects, programs and business processes
across their organizations and external supply chains.
RealFoundations offers business process improvement, technology selection
and recommendations, change management, program and project management,
solution implementations and systems integration. Meridian customers can
also leverage RealFoundations’ experience in delivering high-quality
implementation and integration services for PeopleSoft and Oracle solutions.
"It makes sense to combine the software leadership of Meridian with the consulting expertise of RealFoundations," said Mark Federle, CIO of The Weitz Company, a joint customer of both partners. "The joint team can offer many insights into the issues organizations encounter in utilizing technology solutions to optimize company performance," commented Federle.
Through this alliance agreement, Meridian and RealFoundations will work together to assist Proliance customers with implementation, installation, configuration and integration services. RealFoundations will also assist Meridian customers by providing technology-consulting services to clients within real estate, construction and facility management.
"Through this relationship, we can extend a strong knowledge base of enterprise software integration to our customers," said Jim Olsen, chief executive officer of Meridian. "Expertise and services from RealFoundations will help our customers to take full advantage of Proliance’s integration capabilities," noted Olsen.
